This simple Small Text Generator from your normal sized text. It’s fairly self-explanatory — you put some text in the first box, and it’ll convert it into three different small text «fonts» for you.
Small text, also known as tiny text, is one type of several obscure characters that can be generated above are characters that are created from Unicode.
Unicode is an international textual character specification that has been adopted by the vast majority of the world’s computer industry. This is simply because the alphabets for subscript and superscript don’t actually exist as a proper alphabet in unicode.
Okay, so how does this relate to generating small text? They had specific character requirements that Unicode hadn’t accounted for in their initial specification. Unicode specifies over 120,000 symbols, but currently most browsers and fonts only support a subset of this (though support is always growing).
The «small caps» (little capital letters) alphabet is pretty much a complete alphabet in Unicode so there’s an equivalent small uppercase character for each regular character of the alphabet (though the character for «f» is a bit weird).
Unicode specifies many weird alphabets that can be copy and pasted into Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, etc. posts and profiles.
To use the small text generator tool, just enter your normal text under “Input” and see the result under “Output.”
